Statesman News Service BHUBANESWAR, Sept. 29. Functioning of banks and insurance offices was totally paralysed across the state due to the strike call given by the Central trade unions and Left parties in protest against the anti-labour policies of the UPA government. The strike passed off peacefully across the state barring two incidents of violence in the Capital, home secretary, Mr Santosh Kumar said.
