Statesman News Service COOCH BEHAR, Sept. 29. - The additional sessions cum special judge, Cooch Behar, Mr Chitta Ranjan Jana ordered Sitalkuchi MLA Mr Sudhir Pramanik to stay in judicial custody till 25 October. Mr Pramanik was 'absconding' till yesterday after which he surrendered to the court. He is accused of house blazing cases that took place in 1984. Mr Pramanik is a secretariat member of the Cooch Behar district CPI-M. He also served the NBSTC as its chairman. It was learnt that a mob of about 1,000 people set ablaze to about 17 houses in Sibpur and Kursamari under Sitalkuchi police station in Mathabhanga sub-division on 30 …
