The Ministry of Transport will relocate the main railway station in Phan Thiet Town, central Binh Thuan province from the inner-city area to an outlying location, and at the same time upgrade the Muong Man Railway Station nearby.

Work on relocating Phan Thiet Railway Station and upgrading Muong Man will begin early next year for completion in 2008, said deputy general of the Vietnam Railway Corporation Dang Duc Thinh. Such a project is aimed to enhance traffic communication between the resort town of Phan Thiet and other localities.
