Sep. 28--U.S. Sen. Jon S. Corzine, the Democratic candidate for New Jersey governor, no longer has a financial interest in the major investment-banking firm he used to head, campaign aides said yesterday.

The revelation followed a Statehouse news conference in which two lawyers assailed Corzine for the "massive conflicts of interest" that they said the multimillionaire's investment in Manhattan-based Goldman Sachs presented.

"In response to press inquiries today, Sen. Corzine directed the trustees of his blind trust to immediately complete the steady divesture of shares of Goldman Sachs from his investment portfolio," Corzine …
