Wellington, April 28 - New international research finding New Zealand men and women have the third highest cancer rates in the world shows more must be done to fight the deadly disease, the Cancer Society says.
The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) compares incidence rates and the most commonly diagnosed cancers worldwide.
Male cancer rates are highest in the United States, Hungary and New Zealand, and lowest in Niger, Gambia and the Congo.
