Teachers missing extra pay.

Sep. 27--TAMPA -- Hundreds of Hillsborough teachers, each expecting hundreds of extra dollars in their paychecks Friday, didn't get it.

Teachers and their administrators who meet certain criteria were to receive 5 percent or 10 percent higher pay for working in the district's 23 highest poverty schools.

Friday's miscue is the latest in a string of glitches as the district shifts to its new $17 million Lawson computer system, which ran $7 million over budget and a year behind schedule.
