Vice President Annette Lu yesterday turned over to the prosecution what maverick independent lawmaker Lee Ao said is a secret Central Intelligence Agency report alleging President Chen Shui-bian had her shot on March 19 last year.

"She has read the report very carefully and thought it best to send it to prosecutors in charge," said Chen Wen-tsung, public affairs director of the Office of the President.
