PVSC LAUNCHES NEW OIL-FIELD PLATFORM IN VIETNAM.

HANOI, May 12 Asia Pulse - The Wellhead Platform C1 Deck was launched by the PetroVietnam Technical Services Company (PTSC) at the Vung Tau Oil and Gas Services Port on May 8.
The C1 Deck is a facility invested by the Japan-Vietnam Petroleum Company (JVPC) for oil exploration and production at Rang Dong Oil-field off Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province.
The 600 tonne platform deck, which includes chemical injection equipment, the water and oil treatment systems, the solar energy system and a heli-port, was designed for testing drills at 12 wells at Rang Dong Field.
