TAIPEI, May 2 Asia Pulse - Taiwan's agricultural products are targeted at the whole world for exports and China is not the only market, the head of the Cabinet-level Council of Agriculture (COA) pointed out Friday.
COA Chairman Lee Chin-lung made the remarks in the wake of a speech at Peking University made by opposition Kuomintang Lien Chan earlier in the day in which he said that while agriculture has become weak in Taiwan in view of the country's rapid industrialization and technology development, the island still holds an edge in agricultural technology and could have prospects in the vast China market.
