The official launching of the apprenticeship skills training program for 1,500 ex-combatants has taken place in Monrovia.

The training program was organized by the Young Men Christian Association (YMCA), National Commission on Disarmament, NCDDRR, United Nations Development Program, UNDP and Joint Implementation Unit, JIU

Launching the training program at the YMCA auditorium on Crown Hill, the DDRR/JIU Program and Policy Advisor, Dr. Charles Achodo cautioned the ex-combatants against war, stating, "if any politician loses the elections and ask you to fight, you should tell them to go to hell.
