SINGAPORE, June 4 (Bernama) -- United States Defence Secretary Donald Rumsfeld today defended the use of "hard power" in the war against terrorism but admitted that it should always be the last choice.
"It is the last choice, always the last choice," he said.
"...it is however a choice," he told defence ministers and senior military officials from over 20 countries attending an annual Asian security conference, dubbed the Shangri-La Dialogue, here.
