Last week I bought my first-ever set of radial tires for the Studebaker, while Pammy dyed her hair a vibrant shade of purple. Change is in the air.

It's change or die for us all, I guess. It was either radials or putting the Stude up on blocks in the front yard, since I can't even find bias-ply tires anymore. Pammy said her color change was "spiritual."

These changes, while unexpected, do have their advantages. My 1957 Golden Hawk actually handles better with the modern tires, and I'll never have any trouble picking Pammy out of a crowd.

EASY COME, EASY GO.

But death is sometimes preferable to change, at least that's the way it seems for the Windows …
