New Supreme Court chief justice to take oath on June 30.

The month of June will herald change in the top office of the Supreme Court with the retirement of current Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Nazim Hussain Siddiqui and the induction of his successor Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry. According to the Supreme Court Secretariat, Justice Nazim Hussain Siddiqui will retire as chief justice, on June 29. A Full Court Reference in his honour will be held on the same day, which will be attended by all the judges of the Supreme Court.
