An exciting blend of new and established designers mixing sex, glamour, luxury and creative flair will display their wares at London Fashion Week, which started on Sunday.
Nerves were jangling ahead of the 09:30 a.m. launch party at the Natural History Museum in the heart of the British capital, where former supermodel Linda Evangelista opened the spring/summer 2006 parade.
Getting in early however, was Danish-born designer Camilla Staerk who was to lead the way on to one of the many catwalks set up around London in the first of about 45 such shows by some 52 fashion makers.
