n The Nam Con Son gas project has raised its output by 30% above its designed capacity to help the power industry address power shortage caused by the prolonged drought.

The operators of the gas project have successfully raised output to 3.2 million cubic meters of gas per day in response to Electricity of Vietnam (EVN)'s request for higher gas supply to fuel the Phu My Power Complex in Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province, Vietnam's largest power complex with a capacity of 3,600MW.
