PDP Faction Reinstates Obi-Okoye As Acting Chairman.

THE faction of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) loyal to Governor Chris Ngige has reinstated Chief Ifeatu Obi-Okoye as the Acting Chairman of the party for that group. Obi-Okoye was handed the materials and instrument of office by Dr. Fred Odua who untill now was the co-ordinator of the party's activities for the faction.

The group said their action was prompted by a subsisting court order which says that Obi-Okoye is the party's acting chairman. The judgement was obtained in June last year at Abuja and according to Obi-Okoye no court has set it aside.
