Seoul, 30 April: South Korea has chosen a new commanding officer for its 3,600 troops in Iraq, an official said Saturday.

Maj-Gen Chung Seung-jo [Chong Sung-cho] has been selected to take over as head of the Zaytun unit stationed in the northern Iraqi province of Irbil, a Defence Ministry official said.
