Beijing, 30 April: Chinese President Hu Jintao is scheduled to meet his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of a celebration marking Russia's victory in the World War II in Moscow next month, said Chinese diplomats.

"The two state leaders will discuss major international and regional issues of both concern and how to further bilateral ties, " Assistant Foreign Minister Li Hui told a news briefing here on Saturday [30 April].

As guest of Putin, Hu will attend the 60th anniversary celebration …
