Consumer confidence index down, business confidence index up.

Budapest, May 17 (MTI) - The April business confidence index issued by GKI economic research institute was up a hairsbreadth from March but the consumer confidence index was way down, for an overall business expectation index of minus 20.6, 1.0 points down from a month ago.
The report, prepared with European Union support, was issued early on Tuesday. The business confidence index for April was minus 17 points, 0.4 points better than in March, but lower than equivalent indices for April of past years.
