FOR the second week in succession the pipe bands and drum majors had the same "drill" on arrival at a competition - don your cape if you are a competitor and "civilian" rainwear if you are spectating.

The venue on Saturday was the Playing Fields, Community Centre, Broughshane, promoted by the Co Antrim Section, RSPBA (NI).

But, weatherwise, pipe band events in mid-Antrim have for long been a big talking point - remember when Ahoghill was the venue and its six - or was it seven, wet "tartan" days annually in succession.
