WASHINGTON -- The MBA program at Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business was ranked number 27 among the top schools in the country by U.S. News & World Report. This represents a jump of six spots from number 33 in 2004. In the newly released 2006 edition of America's Best Graduate Schools and its upcoming April 11 issue, U.S. News placed the Georgetown MBA at No. 27 out of the 391 accredited master's programs in business surveyed.
The McDonough School ranked No. 15 for international, No. 12 for Nonprofit, and No. 22 for executive MBA programs in U.S. News' business specialty rankings.
"We are proud of who we are," said Marilyn A. Morgan, Associate Dean and Director of the MBA program at the McDonough School of Business. "We are committed to constant improvement and will persist in our efforts to strengthen our program. Students, faculty, alumni and staff will continue to work together to identify ways to grow and to advance our reach into the global business community."
The McDonough School graduates approximately 260 full-time MBAs each year. The average GMAT score of the Class of 2005 is 662, and the average grade point average is 3.3. Forty percent of the Class of 2005 are non-U.S. citizens. Georgetown MBA students average more than five years of work experience.
