The president, Gen Pervez Musharraf, and US President George W. Bush had one-on-one meeting in New York. They exchanged views on Afghanistan, Pakistan-India dialogue process, Palestine, Iraq and other international and regional issues. President Bush appreciated Pakistan's role in the fight against terrorism and in improving the situation of Afghanistan. PTV correspondent in New York Jafar Bilgrami has details of the meeting:
