Their Majesties the King and Queen [Juan Carlos and Sofia] yesterday held a luncheon at the Royal Palace for the president of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo, and his wife, on the occasion of their visit to Spain. At the meal, which was also attended by Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero, Juan Carlos expressed confidence that both countries would strengthen their "cooperation" in the fight against terrorism, hunger and poverty. …
