New York, Sept 10 (ANTARA) - The Indonesian Consulate General in Houston would donate US$7,500, the money it earned from a food festival it organised on Saturday, for the victims of Hurricane Katrina, the Consulate's spokesman Rusman Utomo said.

The money would be donated through the Bush-Clnton Katrina Relief Foundation, he said in a phone interview from here on the day.

The food festival that Consul Benny Permadi opened was attended by about 500 people, including the Houston and Texas residents, he said.
