Reading Martin Kay's latest offering (CM, 2 Sept, p9) shows that once again he has been given a free platform to air his views on his favourite subject - Scan-Thor. I can't blame him for this, but the level of self-publicity and name-dropping is becoming increasingly intolerable and justifies a response. To redress the balance from an all-consuming belief that buying from abroad is the only solution to the present ills of UK Upholstery plc, I am setting pen to paper.
