Sep. 10--The subway operator Bangkok Metro Plc (BMCL) still expects to be able to offer shares to the public by the end of the year, despite a delay of original plans to list on the stock exchange this month.
"Our initial public offering is unlikely this month, as the Securities and Exchange Commission has asked for a bit more information on the filing, particularly relating to protection of small shareholders, and how the company will utilise proceeds of the offering," said Dr Sombat Kitjalaksana, BMCL managing director.
