Academic libraries and archives share top billing with Dracula in a new novel from first-time author Elizabeth Kostova. The Historian is not the usual blood and gore vampire horror novel though. Backchat was relieved to hear that librarians and information professionals are not simply included to sate the blood thirsty appetite of Dracula, but play a pivotal role as characters researching whether Dracula really did exist.
