The Only Human series - which began last week with Make Me Normal, a moving film about autistic teenagers - continued last night with B******s to Cancer, the story of a 19-year-old undergoing chemotherapy.

Steven Liddell is one of the 2,000 patients every year who develop testicular cancer - that's double the number of cases of 20 years ago.

His life is in turmoil as he undergoes surgery to remove the tumour and then several cycles of chemotherapy. The outlook is good - the vast majority of patients will make a full recovery - but the process is a tough one.
