Sep. 9--Oil companies, excluding state-owned PTT Plc and Bangchak Petroleum, this morning are raising their fuel prices by another 40 satang a litre.
The new price of premium petrol is 27.34 baht per litre, regular petrol is 26.14 baht and diesel 23.79 baht.
Ralph Perry, the country chairman of Caltex Oil Thailand Ltd, said domestic oil marketers were losing 3.19 baht a litre on premium gasoline in light of higher world oil prices resulting from Hurricane Katrina.
