Police are to relaunch a scheme which encourages the public to gather information in the fight against vandalism and anti-social behaviour.
The project, which involves issuing two-way radios and logbooks to people so that they can record evidence of incidents in their neighbourhood, was introduced in Coalville exactly a year ago.
However, the public response has been "disappointing", with just four cases being tackled during the past 12 months.
These involved anti-social behaviour and criminal damage at Hugglescote, Agar Nook plus Belvoir Road and Oxford Street, in Coalville.
