BRADENTON -- A manager of a martini bar in Palmetto was arrested Wednesday on charges he masqueraded as a police officer with blue lights and sirens on his Crown Victoria car.

Kenneth William Holmes, 25, manager of the Smokin' Martini at 908 Riverside Drive, told Bradenton detectives the lights and sirens allowed him to get from one place to another faster than if he were driving a regular vehicle. Authorities say he pulled over at least one motorist.

Indeed, Holmes' black 2003 Ford Crown Victoria looks like an unmarked police car. Holmes told investigators he picked up the light …
