Sep. 8--More than two-thirds of Thai listed companies are considered to meet international corporate governance standards, according to a survey by the World Bank.

The survey ranks 69 percent of listed companies as observing or largely observing six key corporate governance standards set under the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development.

The remaining 31 percent of Thai-listed firms only partially observe the standards.

In contrast, 60 percent of Korean companies and 70 percent of Indian companies are ranked in the top two categories of observing or largely observing the standards, versus just ...
