State Street has made further inroads into the local authority pension scheme market winning four custody mandates worth GBP1.7bn.

The global custodian has won an GBP850m mandate with Rhondda Cynon Taf Borough Council superannuation fund, a GBP415m mandate with London Borough of Barking & Dagenham superannuation fund, and GBP355m with the London Borough of Waltham Forest pension fund, to act as the sole global custodian.

The London Borough of Lambeth superannuation fund has appointed State Street to provide custody, fund accounting and commission recapture services for GBP115m …
