German company JC Neckermann GmbH & Co KG in Wuerzburg will invest EUR 67 M in the construction of a production facility at the site of SKW Stickstoffwerke Piesteritz GmbH. The production facility for biodiesel and pharmaceutical grade glycerine is scheduled to come on-stream at the end of 2006. The Saxony-Anhalt state subsidised Neckermann Renewables Wittenberg GmbH with EUR 22 M. The facility will produce biodiesel from rapeseed oil and will process the by-product glycerine up to pharmaceutical standards. The EUR 11 M chemicals plant of Merascon …
