With their cheesy syncopated dance moves, bubble perms and flares, Brotherhood Of Man have come to epitomise the Eurovision Song Contest, and "serious" music-lovers everywhere sneered with derision even during their 1976 heyday.
After all, this was the year punk exploded, rendering the harmony-pop kings and queens fairly irrelevant.
But, both then and now, Brotherhood Of Man had the last laugh. The original quartet of Nicky Stevens, Sandra Stevens, Martin Lee and Lee Sheriden have never parted company, and are a smash hit on the nostalgia circuit, with their show Denim Blues, Platform Shoes, Hotpants, Flares, Where Were You?
