58 Gulf platforms, rigs damaged
The American Petroleum Institute's initial report shows that of those oil platforms and drilling rigs, 30 have been lost. The API gave no accounting by company, but Apache is among the biggest losers. It lost platforms that were producing 7,158 barrels of oil per day, about 10% of all lost output. Apache fell 1.5% to 70.43.
