Sep. 6--True Corporation is making a serious attempt to boost the personal digital assistant (PDA) market, with the first Thai support for the popular BlackBerry PDA and wireless e-mail checking. BlackBerry by True, a corporate communications tool by the Canadian firm Research In Motion, uses General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) technology. It allows always-on connection to the Internet, using a mobile phone's SIM card.
