The Oil Heat Institute of Eastern New York presented its seventh annual Person of the Year Award to Ed Brennan of IPT/Petro USA during OHIENY's annual meeting at the Glen Sanders Mansion in Scotia, N.Y., in June 8. Brennan has a long and distinguished career in the oil industry. He began working at a service station in Binghamton, N.Y., and was later hired by Richfield Oil Company where he called on oil distributors throughout the Northeast. In addition to Richfield Oil, Brennan has worked for Sinclair, BP, Gasland, McNulty Fuels, Hess, Pal Oil, All Energy and IPT.
Brennan and his wife, Sue, have two daughters and four grandchildren. Brennan is an avid skier and golfer. He was a Class 1 amateur ski racer and is a Certified Race Official. In 1977, Brennan was president of the New York Capital District Ski Council. ...
