MANILA, Sept 5 Asia Pulse - Highlights of today's newspapers:

- The President's allies and detractors in the House of Representatives lay it all on the line Monday as the House votes on a committee report that rejected an impeachment complaint against Mrs. Arroyo.

- DESPITE government claims of an improving fiscal position, the Philippines this year may cancel 16 foreign donor-assisted projects owing to budget constraints, foreign exchange volatility, reductions in scope and unutilized loan balances.

- The Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) has partnered with other government agencies to establish a technical working group that will study production and use of coco bio-diesel in the Philippines.
