PC peripherals firms Logitech International and Mobility Electronics pursue different markets but share a trait: rising sales sparked by solid growth for personal computers.
Logitech is the No. 1 peripherals maker. Best known for its mice and keyboards, Logitech is making noise with its PC speakers and audio gear.
Mobility Electronics specializes in power adapters for notebook computers and mobile electronics wares such as cell phones, music players and digital cameras.
Digital music has struck the right note for Logitech, says Guerrino De Luca, the Swiss company's chief executive.
Logitech sells add-ons for portable players, including Apple Computer's popular iPod. It also sells music accessories for personal computers.
"It's an iPod-slash-MP3 opportunity and a PC opportunity at the same time," De Luca said.
