n Grieving parents speak of their 'perfect' daughter. BRIGHT student and "perfect" daughter Jackie Ryding was taken away from her loved ones in the prime of her life, say her grieving parents.

Jackie (20), a second year history student at Edge Hill College, Ormskirk, died after a white Ford Transit Connect van careered off the A59 County Road on Monday afternoon.

The former Mansfield High School pupil had been walking to meet friends for a pub lunch with her boyfriend, 20-year-old Danny McNamara, who remains seriously ill in Southport Hospital.
