HI-TECH information systems displaying predicted bus arrival times are still not up and running almost a year after the technology was first launched in Northampton.
Transport bosses at Northamptonshire County Council have insisted the electronic displays at bus stops are still being tested even though some have already been spotted flashing up expected arrival times.
The screens have been seen showing either no information or the date and time or the expected arrival times.
Michael Barlow the chairman of the Northampton bus users' group said: "Real time information is going to be a major improvement in providing details to bus passengers. The fact is that information is not readily available at bus stops without the real time system.
