Ex-servicemen set up new club.

A VETERANS club is being set up in Northampton to provide activities for previously housebound pensioners.
A group of ex-servicemen have joined forces to set up the organisation at the Eastern District North Social Club in Goldings.
David Neill, secretary of the committee said the idea came about when they were collecting for the Poppy Appeal last November at Weston Favell shopping centre.
He added: "A few of us decided that there was not much going on in the Eastern district and people don't want to go out for many reasons.
