COBBLERS boss Colin Calderwood believes five wins in the final six games of the season will propel his side to automatic promotion.

Town travel to mid-table Leyton Orient tomorrow with Calderwood and his team boosted by the wins against Wycombe and Shrewsbury over Easter.

The Cobblers are now five points below third-placed Scunthorpe and although it is going to take a mighty effort, Calderwood feels a top three finish is still in range.

"I think this is a vital weekend because the games are running out," said the Cobblers boss.

"You don't have the allowance of 21 or 19 or 15 games to go. There are six games left and five wins for us would be fantastic.

"The number of wins we get could still determine whether we have a chance of getting into the top three.
