Stock Checkup Ratings Enrich Your Diagnosis.(THE SMART INVESTOR)(INVESTORS.COM CORNER)

SmartSelect Ratings are a good starting point in the research process. But Stock Checkup Ratings should also be consulted because they paint an even fuller picture of the stock's technicals, fundamentals and overall industry group health.
The Overall Rating, on a scale of 1-99 with 99 being the best, blends together all five Diagnosis Ratings into an all-in-one rating. Not all components are weighed equally.
The Technical Rating is an expanded version of IBD's Relative Price Strength Rating. The Fundamental Rating is basically a combination of the Earnings Per Share Rating and Sales+Margins+Return on Equity Rating.
The Attractiveness Rating looks at a stock's Accumulation/Distribution Rating as well as the stock's industry group performance and the group's overall performance.
