Sep. 1--The Saha Group, the country's largest consumer goods producer, said its costs are rising and it would have to begin raising market prices for consumers.
The conglomerate froze product prices for 14 months in cooperation with government efforts to restrain price hikes for key household goods.
Boonkiat Chokwatana, a director of the Saha Group and the president of ICC International, said the group could no longer freeze prices after the end of its current commitment to the government and consumers on Sept 30.
