Thailand's Prime Minister Thaksin is in Japan seeking a deeper, broader economic accord.

Section: Government & Politics - Thai Prime Minister Thaskin Shinawatra today (August 31, 2005) visited the Aichi Expo 2005 in central Japan during the first day of his two-day official visit. He aims to forge an agreement for closer economic cooperation between the two countries. Mr. Thaksin visited a booth displaying diversified Thai products, from high-technology to interesting and useful items from OTOP -- the 'One Tambon, One Product' scheme -- at the exhibition.
