In the Koizumi Cabinet's "Basic Policies for Economic and Fiscal Policy Management and Structural Reform 2005," reflecting the resolution of various problems such as the issue of bad debt from the collapse of the bubble economy, "aggressive reform" has been put forward as the next goal.
