Shangarila spreads its wings to serviced apartment sector.

Sep. 1--The second generation of the family that owns Shangarila Restaurant has jumped into a property venture with the launch of a serviced apartment in the Silom-Sathon Road area.
Vitraluck Pojchamanawong, 28, deputy managing director of the Shangarila Group Co Ltd, said the group invested about 80 million baht to develop the Shangarila Suite serviced apartment three years ago.
She said the project started soft operations last January and gained an occupancy rate of 10 percent, made up of international guests. The project will be officially be launched today after the completion of construction in mid-August.
