Sep. 1--Paper manufacturer Advance Agro Plc has worked with more than 20 publishers to make its Sathon Road headquarters into a book tower, with 6,000 square metres of space set aside for booksellers.
Charnvit Jarusombathi, an executive vice-president for Advance Agro, said the company spent 200 million baht on the Thailand Book Tower.
The building is separated into distinct zones across nine storeys: a feeling zone, a living zone, a kids zone, a brain zone (for academic books) and a world zone for foreign-language publications. There also are food and activity zones.
